When I first heard about the release of this novel last year, I was automatically intrigued! An urban fantasy inspired by Korean folklore? I was completely onboard especially since I am quite a fan of k-dramas! And after reading this, I can honestly say it definitely did feel like a k-drama! I could pinpoint so many scenes sprinkled throughout the story which were reminiscent of iconic moments in the dramas I have watched. ![]() “Well, dear, sometimes the universe works in odd ways, but family does not always come about through blood.” ![]()
